Books
Books that are current — not reconstructed in a panic at year-end.
Who this is for
Businesses whose accounts are pieced together once a year for the CA, with no real view of margins or cashflow in between.
If your books only exist at year-end, you're running the business blind for the other eleven months — and the year-end itself becomes a stressful reconstruction. We set up proper accounting: the software, a sensible chart of accounts, bank feeds, and ongoing categorisation and reconciliation so the books stay current. Finalisation, audit and tax filing are handled by our CA partners. The result is accounts you can actually read month to month, and a year-end that's a formality, not a fire drill.
What it removes
The problems this actually takes off your plate.
- 01
Books are reconstructed once a year for the CA.
- 02
You don't know your real margins or cashflow month to month.
- 03
Expenses are uncategorised, so nothing can be analysed.
- 04
Year-end is a stressful scramble instead of a formality.

FAQ
Questions owners actually ask
Do you replace my CA?
No — we complement them. We keep the day-to-day books clean and current; your CA (or our partner CA) handles finalisation, audit and tax filing. A CA working from well-kept books does a better, cheaper job than one reconstructing a year from a shoebox.
Which accounting software do you use?
Whatever fits your size and sector — proven tools rather than anything custom, so they handle tax rules and updates for you. We'll recommend based on your needs, and if you already use something that works, we build around it.
How current will the books be?
The aim is a monthly close, so you're never more than a few weeks from an accurate picture. How frequently depends on your transaction volume and what you're paying for; we scope it to what you actually need to see and how often.
Does this connect to GST and invoicing?
Yes — clean books, GST filing and invoicing should share one flow of data, so you enter things once. It ties into our GST and document automation work rather than being a separate silo.
