Recognition

Get recognised — so you can claim the benefits you actually qualify for.

Who this is for

Early-stage companies that may qualify for Startup India benefits, and small businesses that should be MSME-registered for payment protection and easier access to credit and tenders.

There are real benefits attached to being formally recognised — tax exemptions and easier compliance under Startup India, and payment protection, credit access and tender eligibility under MSME — but they're locked behind registrations most businesses never complete. We handle both: checking eligibility honestly, preparing the paperwork, and getting you DPIIT-recognised and Udyam-registered. We're equally clear about which benefits are genuinely useful to you and which are overhyped.

FAQ

Questions owners actually ask

Do I actually qualify for Startup India?

Not every business does — there are rules on age, turnover and whether the business is genuinely innovative or scalable. We check honestly before you spend effort on it, rather than implying every company gets recognised.

Which benefits are real versus hype?

Some are genuinely useful — certain tax exemptions, easier compliance, self-certification. Others are talked up more than they deliver in practice. We give you a straight read on what's worth pursuing for your situation instead of selling the whole brochure.

MSME or Startup India — what's the difference?

They're different schemes. MSME / Udyam is about being a recognised micro, small or medium enterprise — useful for payment protection, credit and tenders, and most small businesses qualify. Startup India (DPIIT) is narrower and aimed at innovative, scalable startups. Many businesses benefit from MSME even if they don't qualify for Startup India.

How long does it take?

MSME / Udyam registration is quick once details are in order. DPIIT recognition takes longer and depends on government processing. We give realistic timelines rather than promising instant results.
